Admittedly, it is much harder to carry concealed firearms if you are a woman. Our bodies are shaped differently than men’s… Our clothes are designed differently than men’s, as well.
And with more and more women becoming gun owners in the recent years—many with a primary reason to conceal carry for personal protection—there is a growing need for some conceal-carry fashion advice.
Thankfully, we’re seeing a growth in the female-specific conceal-carry holster offerings (which is a subject of an upcoming article). And alongside, there are a few ladies out there showing off some great style while conceal-carrying their guns. Check them out and give them a follow!

"A splash of sass with a whole lot of Faith, Fashion, Film AND Gunpowder."
TactiGal admits that she was an unlikely candidate for a gun-owning woman—an actress in Hollywood. But after a tragic loss of her husband and in the process of putting her life back together, she decided to do some firearms training in order to beef up her acting resume as a possible female detective actress. While at it, she discovered her passion for “Firearms, Self Defense and Empowering others.” Now, TactiGal’s mission is to “reshape how we view the ‘female shooter.’”
"All things guns, conceal carry clothing and holsters!"
Shortly after the birth of her daughter, CCG’s husband bought her a gun for house defense. At that time, she had no interest in guns. A few years later, after moving to Virginia, her husband got back on his mission to get her into guns. And he succeeded! Now, CCG shows off and reviews all types and styles of holsters. She’s got great photos of conceal-carrying in different outfits, so you can get some ideas for yourself.

"Women's firearms training. Blog. Lifestyle movement. For women who wish to learn, train, & carry."
Mia Wood started shooting in the summer of 2015, "on a lark." She quickly fell in love with the sport, but had a hard time finding other women shooters. Rather, she found herself "scrolling through pages of über tactical equipment and classes full of guys dressed for war and blowing out windshields." Out of her need to connect with women who shared her passion for firearms, Gunterest was born.
Retired journalist and concealed carry advocate.
